Opening Service at Calvary Hills
The service was very rich with lots of singing, praying, fellowship and a great message from Luke 8: 28-39. It was followed
by a supplemental feeding for many kids and the food was prepared and served by several mothers. The huge pot of Filipino
porridge made from a base of food from Feed My Staving Children was completely devoured. It was a great joy to see the folks
fed the Word of God for their famished souls and good food for their hungry bodies.

'09 Annual Report
We're finishing the final draft of ACTION Philippine's '09 ministry report which we present to our Board later this month
and ACTION's International Council in March. It represents the faith, hard work, prayers and sacrifice of each missionary
and our supporters so it's very precious to read.

1st quarter '09 "Yes, Lord!" hard-copy newsletter
After at least six drafts we finished our newsletter which is posted on this site as well as ACTION's and our Face Book accounts.
It'll be in the mail next week to around 1,000 people on our list so we're praying it'll stimulate God's people to greater
exploits for His glory and the joy of people whom He loves.

Opening service in Calvary Hills
This Sunday will be the opening worship service in Calvary Hills a squatter community located along the polluted San Juan
River. ACTION along with Camp Aguinaldo Evangelical Church have been working in the community for several years through feedings,
medical clinics, Christmas parties, Easter activities, camping, bible studies and flood relief after typhoon Ondoy so this
will be a very special occasion for several of us. Our street children ministry team doesn't intentionally plant churches
but churches have started in other locations too as a result of people coming to faith in Christ through our ministries of
mercy.

Good relief operation in Baesco
Today we had a good relief operation in Baseco, Tondo for 300 families. We worked in cooperation with World Mission Community,
a Korean ministry, which is church-planting there along with doing medical and feeding work. I spoke from John 14:6 so the
Gospel was clearly presented which was followed in prayer lead by ACTION's social worker and my long-time co-worker Luv Zacal.
We needed to do this in two shifts because the church wouldn't hold all the folks and both were managed well.
